Why does the material that I receive change depending on the course I have purchased?
We tailor the material that you receive to the course that you're taking. If you're doing just a Learn Online course, perhaps because you aren't close to a BPP centre, then you'll have access to all the online study material. Students on one of the classroom courses are given access to a different set of online study material because they need to follow a different approach to learning.

I have a 3G modem and am having problems accessing Learning Modules, what can i do?
Unfortunately the interactive learning modules will not work with 3G modems
What if I have any other questions?
Feel free to contact us if you have any further queries.
I can not open the learn modules. I get an ‘error loading’ or ‘access denied’ error message This is most likely because you don’t have the Macromedia Authorware plug-in installed, which is required to run the learn modules, and your PC is failing to automatically download it. Most of the time this is because users are running Windows Vista and their protection mode is blocking it. The other reason is because they are using a work PC and they don’t have admin rights to download it.
Are you using Windows Vista? If so, Windows Vista and IE7 feature a new ‘Protected Mode’ which is a very strict security model and block almost everything that tries to write locally to your hard disk. You will need to either add the following sites to your trusted list or just turn off Protected Mode completely: www.bpp.com www.adobe.com www.macromedia.com
Instructions for how to do this are available here: http://www.vistaclues.com/disable-protected-mode/If you are trying to access it from an employer’s PC, then you need to inform your IT people that you are trying to download and install Macromedia Authorware, and they will need to let it pass through their firewall and install it on to your machine.
When will my Learn Online subscription expire? If you are taking a CBA paper (Computer Based Assessment – CIMA Certificate Level or ACCA Knowledge), you have 12 months access from the date of purchase.
All other papers are valid until the end of the sitting month you purchased them for. For example, if you purchased ACCA P3 for the December 09 sitting, your subscription will expire 31st December 2009, whether you purchased it in July or October – it will expire at the end of December.
If your subscription has expired, and you wish to extend it until the end of the next sitting, then you can do so without having to pay full cost again, however you will be asked to pay a small deferral fee. Please contact losupport@bpp.com for more information.
